I love buying embroidery supplies on Amazon! Some of my favorite staple items come from Amazon. Let me tell you about them.

Stabilizer: I buy both tearaway and cutaway on Amazon. Just this week I bought some black cutaway to use with my key fobs. Since I like to use blackboard fabric on the back, I think this will look nice and clean compared to the white stabilizer sandwiched in between.

Scissors: You can’t go wrong with Kai scissors. I have been using my dressmaking shears to cut vinyl projects for half a decade. For applique trimming, I adore my Gingher 4″ curved scissors.

Thread: I usually buy thread at the local sewing shop or a supply website. But I stick with my favorite brand: Isacord. I keep hoping that one day someone will buy me the big set I have on my wish list!

Fast Frames and EZ Frames: I have a blog on these here.

Bobbins: I use Magna Glide magnetic bobbins with my 6-needle machine.

Hardware for Projects: I’ve been carrying hardware for key fobs lately in several styles, but if you need the 2-Day shipping or prefer to buy on Amazon, grab the lobster claw hardware or the large-clasp hardware (these are great for eyelet sanitizer holders and headphone cases! I love the ease of using the large clasp to hook and unhook it open quickly and easily).
