For whatever reason, I have never desired to carry a purse. I love purses – they’re super cute and come in fun colors and styles! I have a few that are very nice! Maybe it’s because I work from home and don’t go out much, I don’t know.

This means that I hold stuff in my hands a lot when I go out. I know, annoying. Just carry a bag, Melissa!

Anyway, I found a way to enable myself in my silliness by creating a key fob set With the advent of push-button-start cars, we no longer have to worry about heavy key fobs. ̶H̶o̶a̶r̶d̶e̶r̶s̶ collectors rejoice!

Here is my current key fob set. I carry this every day! Grab it to take my teen to school. Grab it to run to the store for $9 eggs. Grab it to go to Dollar Tree to hunt for design inspiration.

Hello Kitty fabric was purchased at Joann in 2024, it’s called Hello Kitty at Play if you’d like to try to find it elsewhere.
My Amazon affiliate store, where I try to save items I use or recommend for ITH or any machine embroidery.
Here are affiliate links to the products I used in my fobs below:
Size 3 zippers 🧵 Size 5 zippers 🧵 Wristlet hardware 🧵 Lip balm in bulk 🧵 Hand sanitizers I use 🧵 Colored key rings with large lobster clasps

I also run Doordash a few times a week for extra money (gotta have that side hustle, y’all!). Here is the set I made for my Doordash Redcard (what you use if you need to pay for something for a customer at a store) and keys. If you’d like these 3 designs, you can email Melissa at [email protected].

Applique fob sets make it easy to personalize for anyone, and although I love bright colors and girly prints, you can totally make these fobs for a more subdued or masculine loved one of any age. In February 2025, I am selling/sold kits to make the Top-Zip ID Wallets, including prints like football, chess, and Super Mario!
