Description
*This video course is housed in a group on Facebook. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can certainly set one up just for this course. I do not care what your Facebook name or account is, as long as you pay for the course. It does not matter to me if you use a new account or dummy account (like some do to avoid social media – I get it!).
2024 is my ten-year anniversary of digitizing using Embrilliance StitchArtist®! To celebrate this monumental milestone, I decided to open the doors to my digitizing process and create a full video course on the skills that have afforded me the ability to put food on the table for my family for almost as long, and always retain my independence as a mother and working woman even through difficult circumstances.
Whether you are just looking to learn to digitize for fun, you want to create your own designs to sell, or digitize for friends or a boss, this video series will take you through opening your software for the first time to saving a complete embroidery design that you digitized from scratch.
I use Embrilliance StitchArtist® for my course, and I recommend that you have that software module as well. Yes, I do talk a lot about basic principles of digitizing like types of running stitches, pull compensation, and applique steps, so it’s up to you if you have another brand of digitizing software and would like to translate the buttons that I show you on my interface, with ones on your screen. StitchArtist® comes in 3 Levels, and I recommend Level 2 for this course, although Level 1 would definitely suffice as these are just the basics of digitizing! You can view the comparison chart for the Levels at the Embrilliance website. Also, sign up for their mailing list to receive the coupon codes they often send out!
Please see the “Video Chapters” graphic on this listing for a general idea of the course’s skills. Know that this was the bare bones when I began this course and there will be additional information as I complete more videos. Purchase this listing using the buttons at the bottom of this page. Upon completion of payment, visit my Facebook group and answer the entry question. You can view the videos at your own pace, and I have regularly scheduled appearances in the group to answer questions that may arise as you learn! This is not simply a “Here, good luck!” video series; this is an interactive course with a professional whose life has revolved around digitizing for almost a decade. I have wanted to offer this type of course for years, but my life circumstances at many times simply could not accommodate being present for students in the way I pledge to here. This is a very exciting step for my family and my business, and I’m honored that people want to learn from me. And honestly? I’m glad I waited because I’ve learned even more skills since I started feeling the desire to teach!
I deeply respect your expenditures with DLB, as I always have, whether they have been for $4 or $400. PayPal has a “Pay Later” feature in their interface that you can use to break up the payments. I know this investment is a lot of money, but we always tell each other in our industry to charge what we’re worth! NOTE: I run a brisk business, but I am still small enough to be able to consider the needs of individual customers. If you need to pay another way, like Venmo or Cashapp, please contact me via email and let me help you find a way to pay for the course that works for you!
If you have ANY questions before purchasing, please shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will answer to the best of my ability.
