the Stitching Bee! hosted by Designs by Little Bee

In case you haven’t heard, Melissa from Designs by Little Bee is hosting a one-day event this summer!

On July 16th, Melissa will host a Stitching Bee to include four classes (with an optional fifth), catered lunch from a local eatery, special sales from our host shop Mid South Sewing & Vac, amazing prizes and freebies, and a fun day meeting new friends, learning and encouraging each other. ALL supplies for every class/project are included; please bring your machine or look on with a friend for a hands-on experience. Every attendee will receive a goodie bag worth at least the price of registration, and we’ll also be snacking on a local delicacy: chocolate-covered bacon, y’all! A sandwich or burger and a slice of chocolate-covered bacon are included in your registration.

And I have more great news: Sign up in the month of May and receive FIVE designs of your choice from designsbylittlebee.etsy.com after you pay your registration!

The event is scheduled for 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday, July 16th with four 45-minute classes, a break for lunch, and the optional fifth “Sales” class available to you if you choose at 2:00 (if not, you may break to shop or go home). The following is the tentative class list for the day:

* Felties: How to Make ‘Em, How to Use ‘Em!
* Hooded Towels: Friend or Foe?
* Snap Tabs: They’re a Snap!
* guest appearance and class on Doodle-Its and ITH stuffies by Kellie Rendleman of Sevens Emporium
* optional fifth class: Etsy/Sales Success

Are you ready? Are you excited?! Click the “Buy Now” button below to pay with your PayPal account or any major credit card. Upon receiving your payment, I will forward you a confirmation and welcome email, and [if you’ve signed up in May] find out which five designs you’d like for FREE! I will also be in touch at a later time to find out if you’d like a sub sandwich or burger for lunch.
