Last week we had The Stitching Bee, which went off without a hitch! Well, with a few hitches, but we got everything taken care of and I think everyone had a good time and learned some great tips on making my favorite projects!

I didn’t get much done this week for whatever reason. Distracted, off my game, grouchy, unproductive, or just plain tired. I did manage to get all custom embroidery work done for my physical goods shop as well as several gifts for friends. I zipped up the amazing ITH Zipper Bag with no exposed seams and created the photo tutorial I promised for this week. Please go grab it here at just $2 through Friday, July 29, and please share your projects in our group on Facebook
If you got this zipper bag last week when it was a group freebie and watched the video tutorial (which is still available in the group), then you don’t need to purchase the listing! If you want the illustrated .PDF tutorial that comes in the listing, you will need to purchase the listing.
If you didn’t know, my husband plays Australian Rules Football (it’s not rugby!) for the Nashville Kangaroos. They have a game scheduled in Kentucky tomorrow, so I’m going up there with his team and we’re spending the night – kid-free! It will be shocking for sure to have the time away and I know we are going to have fun.
I’m taking this day to relax, have a good time, and not think about work. When we get back on Sunday, I know I will be just full of ideas and plans to get back in the swing of digitizing and prepare myself mentally for Christmas ornament season! Personalized Christmas ornaments were the first way in which I found success on Etsy, and these are how I will pay for our vacation this year for Christmas. We have never been anywhere as a family of four, and I want it to be amazing. Earnings from my Christmas ornaments this year will go directly into our vacation fund!

If you’re doing any Amazon shopping this weekend, please don’t forget to use my affiliate link when you go, so I get store credit to use for household stuff for our family!
I am still catching up on some embroidery orders this afternoon and zipping up a couple of surprises. If you have questions or need advice, please post in my group, or anywhere else you think you’d get great advice! If you have an emergency issue that only I can help with, please email me at designsbylittlebee (at) gmail (dot) com. I will have my laptop with me but do not plan on opening it unless someone experiences a genuine embroidery emergency. 🙂
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! If you’re in the South, drink a lot of water and stay inside or in the shade!
